Savannah alternative addresses

I want to deactivate the bug tracker and redirect to the new site

  https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/freetype/freetype/-/issues   ,

to which we have exported all issues.  I consequently filled out the
'alternative address' field and unmarked the checkbox for 'bug
tracker'.

However, I don't see a forwarding to the alternative address
(regardless whether the checkbox is marked or unmarked).  What am I
doing wrong?
