lost account

Hello, I lost access to the email I used to register my account
(username: taviso, email: taviso@sdf.lonestar.org), and can't reset my
password.

I believe the owner of the domain passed away, and their estate has been
unwilling to update the mx record. The sysop has said all hope is lost,
and it's unlikey any further email will ever be delievered.

Would it be possible to reset my email to something else? I can still
access taviso@sdf.org, which is the replacement.
