Hi,

Thanks for the tip. I am not sure I understand what /etc/smrsh is. I don't see 
it in my etc directory. Can  you provide any more information? I really 
appreciate your help.

   you need to create a symbolic link from /etc/smrsh to where queue-pr is
located.  this will tell sendmail that queue-pr is an acceptable service.

gnats-db/gnats-adm probably does not allow anyone other then gnats user
to write to it.  you will need to create an empty file bugs.log there
and make it writable and readable by others besides the gnats user.
