Hello,
I use oysttyer for Twitter.
It's available in the Debian repository, it works very well, but if you don't
check Twitter regularly and when I log in it floods my screen.
I haven't found a way of redirecting the tweets into a file so I can read them,
but it does
give me a way to get into twitter with a text console.
Best wishes,
David

Ian Collier dixit:
Do you guys use Twitter on Lynx?
I?m not, unfortunately I?m fighting with Bloatzilla browsers for that.
They closed it to non-JavaScript browsers
Yeah, before you could at least see some posts and pictures with links+.
(I am not actually on Twitter
I came to complain to some company?s action where Twitter was the only
point of contact listed and stayed for cat pictures, especially Manuls,
but I?m not considering myself as a ?social network user? either.
Mails to the list seem to be _quite_ delayed today. Huh.
bye,
