Hello,
I would be grateful to anyone who could test a preliminary version of
glpk 4.46 on a 64-bit platform.
Now the zlib compression library has been included into the glpk
distribution. I made some changes in its headers and source code,
because the original version of this library does not conform to the
ANSI C (it uses low-level i/o functions like open, lseek, etc.). And
since zlib becomes a part of the distribution, it needs to be tested for
portability.
Currently zlib is used optionally to read/write .gz files. However, I
think to use it for deflating the search tree in the glpk mip solver and
would like to be sure that there will be no portability problems.
Thanks,
Andrew Makhorin
