The only problem I have with the dynamic mixing is it means everything has to
have exactly the same melody line. This is one of the things I don't like
about the current music. That same flute solo keeps right on looping every
53 seconds. Doing this means the songs also have to have the same tonality
and the same tempo. No one can portray different moods as effectively with
these limitations as they would be able to otherwise. It is possible to use
the same/similar motives for all of the songs (I'm already doing this) but
those limitations make for an awful soundtrack.
What about a short fade out on the old track, and a short fade in on the new
one when the music needs to be changed?
