I have appended recommended value to manual of gtags(1) and htags(1).

GTAGSCACHE
        If this variable is set, its value is used as the size of
        btree cache. The default is 500000 (bytes).
        10000000 (bytes) is recommended if enough memory exists.  <= ADDED
