OS:
Windows NT 4 / Windows 2000 from command line.
Ive got
the 3.16 prebuilt version of cp.exe
When I run
it from the command line, it messes with the command prompt, - Im guessing it
doesnt work well with long file names and/or this command line
environment.
Here's
what happens:
Microsoft Windows
2000 [Version 5.00.2195]
(C) Copyright 1985-2000 Microsoft
Corp.
V:\>cd
Aurora
V:\Aurora>cd
BuildScripts
V:\Aurora\BuildScripts>
V:\Aurora\BuildScripts>
V:\Aurora\BuildScripts>cp
v:/aurora/builds~1/cp:
missing file arguments
Try `v:/aurora/builds~1/cp --help' for more
information.
V:\Aurora\BUILDS~1>
Notice the command prompt has been changed to BIULDS~1 (its
almost like Windows 95 used to be with long file
names)
Nick
PS
Does the latest v4.0 fileutils package support MSVC6?
