There is a bug with the "ls -d" command with Redhat and possibly other vendors.
"ls -d" by definition should act the same as DOS's "dir /ad". Instead of
listing all of the directories in a given path, it only lists the current
directory " . ", which serves no purpose. Am I the only one who has noticed
this?
