It would be helpfull if you could append the tramp buffers as
instructed above.

Hmm. Tramp 2.0.25 is rather old (October 2002). The CVS version of
Emacs you're using includes Tramp 2.0.38 already. Maybe you disable
your local Tramp directory, or you upgrade to the recent Tramp CVS
version.
