Hi
Mario Domgörgen <address@hidden> writes:The "/ftp:" part of the syntax seems to irritate ange-ftp?!Gnah :-( Hm. Them nasty bugs, they seem to grow out of nowhere. Let me ponder this problem for a while. Kai
That was why I migrated from emacs to xemacs month ago - because of this bug (in my case it is traml-2.0.36, I was
not able to login to cvs due to absence of cvs)I always able to reproduce this: each time when I try to open file with the syntax:
Find file: /ftp:address@hidden:/ZWarehouse/zw08modules/test.py I get: ftp> open ftp ftp: ftp: Unknown hostbut I get this only 1st time when I am opening the file. On 2nd attempt, file always opens with no error. Thats strange thing which described some time ago into this mailing list.
And because of that I had to install Xemacs and use it instead - into Xemacs I have a different
syntaxes for tramp and efs so they do not interfere. -- Alex V. Koval http://www.halogen-dg.com/ http://www.zwarehouse.org/
