Invalid format character: ?m

        Hi! I just downloaded tramp 2.0, and I'm using XEmacs 21.4.6. When I
try to open a file (via scp) on a remote host, I get a "Invalid format
character: ?m" error message. After 'toggle-debug-on-signal', I got the
following:
