After a lot of work by all people contributing to TLF I would like to
announce the release of the new TLF-1.3.0 version.
You can find it at
http://www.hs-mittweida.de/tb/tlf-1.3.0.tar.gz
Besides some fixed bugs and internal improvements it provides
the following new features (see also the NEWS file for details):
TLf is now able to use FLDIGIs XMLRPC interface for receiving and
sending digimode data. See doc/READMA_RTTY.txt and man page for
details. Tnx Ervin HA2OS.
Two new keywords MINITEST and UNIQUE_CALL_MULTI supports
contests like Minitest or CWops CWT. They allow to split a contest
in different sections to work a station in a different section
again. Further on you can score unique call signs as multiplicators.
Again tnx to HA2OS.
Nate N0NB did some work to enable PTT control via the Hamlibs CAT
interface
Updated CTY.DAT to version from January 2017.
We have better implementation of WPX prefix recognition now. It can
now handle call signs with only letters (e.g. RAEM) and long numbers
(e.g. DR2006Q).
The FAQ got extended by some hints to correct you own CQ zone if
TLF gets it wrong.
You can now have separate keyer devices for CW and DIGI modes at
the same time in your logcfg.dat (e.g. FLDIGI for digimode and
NETKEYER for CW).
Bugfixes:
- Fixed wrong parsing of EXCLUDE_MULTILIST keyword.
- Fixed recognition of CQ zone for 1Axxx stations.
- Better recognition of ncurses components for different
distributions. Supports also ncurses versions with split out
tinfo database.
- Fix color handling and packet screen interface for the new
ncurses6.
For a more detailed discussion of the new features please read the
NEWS file and the man page.
As always reports about problems (or success) are welcome.
