I read about the adjustment of type precision, but I didn't realise it
made a difference to the API.
Sorry about the confusion. I should have mentioned -pre2.

Using hamlib 1.1.5-pre2, tlf sets the rig frequency correctly, but
it can't read the rig frequency. The TRX frequency displayed is
garbled, and spills over past the right hand side of the box, which
looks really ugly. Perhaps Rein could consider limiting the TRX
value to stay within the tlf box.

Anyway, using hamlib 1.1.4, all is well.
