Details:

Today I finally figured out why my laptop battery is draining so fast these
days: I have a Savannah tab open on nano's bugs page, and the animation in the
banner at the top is running my CPU at around 90%, all the time, whenever that
tab is the current one.  Please, this is a horrendous waste of energy!
