A few strings do need update, you could help maintaining them in the
Translation Project <https://translationproject.org/team/fr.html>; you can
also find more software packages to translate or proofread there. (The
Translation Project handles translation for many GNU packages, but some
packages run their own translation infrastructure, like GNOME
<https://l10n.gnome.org/teams/fr/> or GnuPG
<https://lists.gnupg.org/mailman/listinfo/gnupg-i18n>.)
You could also check Contributors Wanted

(including the French www.gnu.org team
<https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/www-fr/>), though many requests may be
obsolete now.
