URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?107813> Summary: When multiple ssh authorized keys configured, only able to use the first one. Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: kkylheku Submitted on: Thu 22 Sep 2011 02:06:28 PM PDT Category: Developer Source Code Repositories Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Operating System: GNU/Linux Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: I registered an additional ssh key via the web interface, but authentication was refused for that key. Then I went to the web interface and re-ordered the keys so that the new one is the first one. Then authentication worked. This shows it is not an issue with the key itself. The server simply does not offer to authenticate with the second key in the authorized list. Shouldn't these keys just be dumped into the ~/.ssh/authorized-keys file on the server and both work? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?107813> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
