[Pan-devel] CVS HEAD Block

Hiya all,

In testing CVS HEAD, it seems that there is a block on connect(2)
whenever PAN attempts to contact a server which is down (ie. completely
not responding). This is of course blocks the GUI as well.

I'm not overly familiar with the PAN codebase, but I do understand that
there was a recent concurrency model switch away from threads to GTK+
idle handlers. Is there someone already working on this or should I try
my hand at a patch?
