Some questions:

* Is the Windows build-howto (http://pan.rebelbase.com/pan-windows-port.txt) 
still up to date?

* what about gnet-2.0? It has somewhat changed macro's for automake (using the 
version number in the name) and existing packages do not coexist with gnet-1.1. 
I'll ask what the gnet people think about this.
