The RPM for RedHat 7.3 works fine on my Mandrake 8.2 and 9.0 boxes,
with spellchecking.

As before, one just has to ignore the gtk2 dependency when installing,
or use the dummy gtk2 RPM that I published on the pan-users mailing list
on Nov. 24 in the thread "Mandrake 9.0 RPM also works for Mandrake 8.2".

When speaking about Mandrake RPMs:  I sent an RPM plus specfile for
restoring the Mandrake-specific menu file and icons for Pan to
address@hidden, also on Nov. 24.  I suggested putting it somewhere in
the download section, but I haven't seen any response yet.  Is there any
interest for such a package?  (And is address@hidden still the
address to use?)
