Hi Antonio,
Using Cygwin on Windows 10, I have put Lzip 1.20-pre2 through some
pretty extensive testing with no errors in terminal output or
compression or decompression. Here is the terminal output as it
pertains to calling -vv9 and -vvd options:

I have two PCs available to me: a laptop with an Intel Core i7-4710HQ
and a mini-tower PC with an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400. Both of these PCs
have Arch Linux x86-64 and Windows 10 installed in a dual boot
configuration. I have Lzip 1.20-pre2 installed on all of these
operating systems and I haven't experienced any problems with general
use. Mostly I've just been compressing tarballs of some college work
I've been doing from system to system and transferring the Lzip
compressed tarballs through cloud storage and my local machines.
Anyway, the test above that I performed was on disk image files that
were each 16 GB using my laptop under Windows 10 Cygwin. Also, in all
of my general use, progress is always shown in Lzip compression and
decompression.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Timothy Beryl Grahek
