First, to address the screen reader issue, in my vi edit buffer, where
I read all my email, I did:
:s/lynx/catlynx/g
Now as far as the links and catlynx behavior, it may be
that links spoofs the presence of the ad rendering modules that the
cloud flare gatekeeper requires, along with active cookies.
Now I normally turn on cookies in catlynx, but they seem to be hit or miss.

Apparently it isn't the agent header, because on my softcon.com server,
links works (as it does for you) but catlynx does not.?? Even when I tell
catlynx
to mimic the useragent string sent by links.
Interesting enough, the first time I tried catlynx with the links headers, I
got a 408 error, which claimed the server took too long to respond, even
though it only took a couple seconds to pop up.
I looked at the man pages for links, and I couldn't find anything that would
account for the acceptance there and not on catlynx. <shrug>

something to consider about cloudflare is that it tracks sometimes by IP
address.

The above user agent spoof normally lets me slip the Cloud Flare gatekeepers,
but this seems to be something new.
For what it's worth, the same problem now occurs with w3m, however,
links (the chain) can access the site just fine.
If there is a simple configuration fix for this, I'd really like to know.
