fwiw, I use Chrome/Win with some ad ons like adblock / ublock and a hosts
file, I often get these on some sites
(in fact, I was thinking of disabling browser blockers and/or hosts file
and try using pi-hole instead ? I think? that should circumvent web site
pop ups ...?)
