If a user can get ownership of /etc/lynx.cfg and have that file in their home directory then create a basic lynx.sh script in their home directory with the line: lynx -cfg=$HOME/lynx.cfg then that user is no longer using any of the system defaults. Any edits that user does to $HOME/lynx.cfg effect only them and nobody else on the system. --
