[Lynx-dev] lynx branches , wanted to play with adaptations for viewing html email

I've been using lynx in a lot of my scripts and see that it is used with 
neomutt.
I now use it with other things to browse email downloaded into my own app.
However, the normal html rendering does not seem ideal and I wanted to 
customise it a bit for non-standard behaviors but it looks like there may
already be some options for doing some things. Are there any similar branches
that may be worth looking at?  How can I get it to just display links
inline rather than as "[refno]" so I can just copy the link directly?
If I get that much to work then I probably understand the important parts
of the code for later things.
