Oops, I failed to read the other messages
carefully and see that everyone else in
the world had already determined that
this is a color-style / ncurses bug :-)
I recompiled dev15 with color-style and
ncurses, and Lynx does misbehave significantly
given the pages provided.
It is not a problem in the network code,
since Lynx wasn't able to deal with
the local copies I made of the HTML files.
Lynx had problems with both of these addresses:
http://camden-sbc.rutgers.edu/FacultyStaff/Directory/default.htm
(spontaneous exit)
http://fr.sports.yahoo.com/foot/fran/t/om/
(freeze up)
Now it's time for my newbie questions: How do
I find out what signal is being raised by Lynx?
And how do I find out where the signal is raised
in the code?
Carlton
