Strange. I created a lynx.cfg with the following entries:
BOLD_HEADERS:FALSE
BOLD_H1:TRUE
BOLD_NAME_ANCHORS:FALSE
NO_ISMAP_IF_USEMAP:TRUE
LIST_NEWS_NUMBERS:FALSE
SCROLLBAR:FALSE
COLLAPSE_BR_TAGS:TRUE
DEFAULT_KEYPAD_MODE:NUMBERS_AS_ARROWS
DEFAULT_KEYPAD_MODE_IS_NUMBERS_AS_ARROWS:TRUE
VERBOSE_IMAGES:FALSE
MAKE_LINKS_FOR_ALL_IMAGES:FALSE
MAKE_PSEUDO_ALTS_FOR_INLINES:FALSE
SUBSTITUTE_UNDERSCORES:FALSE
MINIMAL_COMMENTS:TRUE
PRETTYSRC_VIEW_NO_ANCHOR_NUMBERING:TRUE
JUSTIFY:FALSE
CONNECT_TIMEOUT:18000
HISTORICAL_COMMENTS:FALSE
NO_FILE_REFERER:TRUE
NO_FROM_HEADER:TRUE
NO_REFERER_HEADER:TRUE
SOFT_DQUOTES:TRUE
I then execute:
lynx -cfg=/home/lwv26/.parms/nolinks.cfg -dump
-hiddenlinks=ignore -nolist -width 256
http://pojo.com/priceguide/usfossil.html
and get as a result
[1][LINK] [2][LINK] [3][USEMAP] [4][LINK] [5][LINK]
[6][USEMAP]
[7][USEMAP]
[8][LINK]
[9][LINK] [10]
Pojo Magazine
[11][LINK]
[12]Buy & Sell Pokemon stuff on Ebay
[13][USEMAP]
Where I was hoping to a) not get the [1], [2], ...
b) not get the [USEMAP] and [LINK]s
Does settings in my .lynxrc override the -cfg parm?
