   Yes.  Examples include jed, slrn, and most.  For exampe, to bind
the F1 key to some_function in jed, one would use:

     setkey ("some_function",  "^(k1)");

where `k1' is the termcap name for F1.

This should be trivial by allowing slang to interpret the key sequences.
