The example is wrong. Just replace the second
\new Lyrics = "mainlyrics"
with
\context Lyrics = "mainlyrics"
to use the same Lyrics context for the first verse of the
repeat as for the melody of the introduction.

I assume this was discussed earlier, but I can't find it in the
archives, sorry:
The following example from
http://www.lilypond.org/doc/v2.8/Documentation/user/lilypond/More-
stanzas.html
shows what I'd like to get and also what's wrong:
\score{ <<
\new Voice = "melody" \relative c' {
c2 e | g e | c1 |
\new Voice = "verse" \repeat volta 2 { c4 d e f | g1 | }
a2 b | c1
}
\new Lyrics = "mainlyrics" \lyricsto melody \lyricmode {
do mi sol mi do
la si do
}
\new Lyrics = "mainlyrics" \lyricsto verse \lyricmode {
do re mi fa sol
}
\new Lyrics = "repeatlyrics" \lyricsto verse \lyricmode {
dodo rere mimi fafa solsol
}
>> }
The lyrics of the repeated part don't start in the first lyrics line,
but below.
How do I get the first line of "mainlyrics" always on the same line?
