I'd like to integrate libredwg in GDAL/OGR for reading and writing DWG files with at roughly the level of GIS access we already have for DXF files.  Nothing fancy, but hopefully reasonable robust for 2d files. 

A license change to LGPL would be helpful though it is not critical.
