Does it help? Is this from a fresh checkout? I expect to see the error message you reported earlier mixed in with this output. i cheked the packages that wiki recomends: build-essential autoconf libtool swig TeXinfo python-dev I have them all and i'm using Xubuntu. Any idea?. I'll be thankful. Perhaps you are missing GNU Automake?
