Interesting, "allows to" is not a commonly accepted way of putting
this? (My semi-native English is a bit rusty in these things. This
seems like a typical German way of avoiding the "you" in there. I
actually tried to look it up:

Actually, "as usual" is also totally wrong, it should say "than usual",
which has a different meaning.
