I'd like to make a disk-image from an Atari-ST disk using the command:
mcat a: > ~/ataridisk.st
The command works fine for 9-sector (80 tracks, 2 sides) disks, but so does
the standard OS X "cat" or "dd"
However "mcat" does not work with 10-sector disks. It just copies the first 9
sectors of each track/side each 10th sector is skipped, so the image is
garbage.
Does anyone have a suggestion what part of the sourcecode i should change so
mtools can handle 10-sector Atari disks?
Will
