GNU SASL 1.9.0 (development version)

The GNU SASL 1.9.x branch is NOT what you want for your stable system.
It is intended for developers and experienced users.

The main new feature in the 1.9.x branch is support for the
SCRAM-SHA-256 mechanism as per RFC 7677.

This release contain the core SCRAM-SHA-256 support, none of the
recently discussed new properties are implemented yet.
