Hello,
I am facing some terrible problem during bootstap bison from current GIT
snapshot (main branch). I am getting the following error:
configure:12166: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_LANGINFO_CODESET
configure:12236: error: possibly undefined macro: gl_GLIBC21
errors are coming from "autoconf -force" command.
Now, I know that it's needed to upgrage my auto tools. I did it. I compiled
m4 (1.4.12), automake (1.10.2) and autoconf (2.63). I ensured that the new
m4 was in the path during automake and autoconf configuration. I installed
m4/automake/autoconf instead of /usr versions, so all the m4 shared files
was replaced. I tried it number of times on different machines (fedora 7,8,
redhat 4).
The interesting fact is, that when I am trying to execute the problematic
command ('autoconf -force') from command line, so third time (!) it is not
failed, but the resulting "configure" file is still broken.
