I poked around on this a bit more and found anon CVS instructions on

  https://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=gnump3d

To check out the latest CVS, I did:

export CVS_RSH="ssh"
cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden:/cvsroot/gnump3d co gnump3d

Worked like a charm.


Steve, if possible, can you update

   http://www.gnu.org/software/gnump3d/cvs.html

to reference the above commands and perhaps a link to
https://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=gnump3d
