I have an almost unused pc based on epia mini-itx. Fanless cpu welded on mainboard 500 Mhz, 1 giga ram 100 or 133 Mhz SDRAM (older than DDR technology), good hard disk space. It runs as server since many years with different tasks depending on my needs. Since providers added black lists to mail servers (which adds by default all dinamic ip like mine) it isn't used seriously, just ftp for few friends when comes rarely to share something or apache for slim files links. Ah, it runs Boinc which is cpu intensive, but doesn't really matter, and amule (with strong bandwidth limitations).
It runs with ubuntu hardy (8.04), the long-term version.
This pc is always on, under a power suppy unit, no monitor or keyboard, i manage it under ssh. It happens to be down just when i'm traveling or isp force a disconnect (which happens rarely these days, i never noticed when sitting on pc).
My bandwidth isn't that good, but i don't think many people will be browsing hudson at same time. The only bad seems to be cpu speed.
Here are cpu stats from Boinc:

If you think it can fit your needs, i would be happy to give my contribute.
