At least we haven't heard of anyone doing it yet. We know of one guy
who's said he's going to install Fle3, but hasn't yet done so.
Basically there shouldn't be any problems, as Fle3 isn't platform
dependent - it only depends on Zope. And Zope, in turn, is basically
dependent on the Python runtime environment, but contains a few lines
of POSIX C code, so it needs to be ported to each platform. Currently
Zope is ported to Linux x86, Win32 and Solaris.
You should be able to download Zope and install it (and Python). If you
can get Zope running, dropping Fle3 inside it shouldn't be a problem.
Zope 2.5.1 is available for download at:
http://www.zope.org/Products/Zope/2.5.1
Based on the solaris file name Zope-2.5.1-solaris-2.6-sparc.tgz I'd
wager that you need Solaris 2.6.
If you do get Fle3 to run on Solaris, we'd definitely appreciate you
telling us that. And if there are any special measures that need to be
taken, we'd like to hear that as well (like special steps installing
Zope and so on).
