GNUMail Becomes an Official GNUstep Project
-------------------------------------------

We are happy to announce that GNUMail.app, a fully functional e-mail
client, has become an official part of the GNUstep project. GNUMail.app
uses the development framework provided by GNUstep, which is based on
the OpenStep specification published by NeXT, Inc. (now Apple
Computer, Inc.).

E-Mail is an integral part of the desktop experience, and GNUMail.app
will go a long way towards providing people with the authentic
experience of the GNUstep look-and-feel.

GNUMail.app is available from
http://www.collaboration-world.com/gnumail. You also need to install
the Pantomime framework in order to use GNUMail.app.

GNUstep is a free, object-oriented development environment, consisting
of libraries which implement the basic functionality of most common
applications, as well as various tools to support the development and
execution of applications. GNUstep is available at
http://www.gnustep.org
