Details:

There's a new cursor in 0.8.19e for windows, which is extra thick, and it
occaisonally doesn't put the note on the line or space that its occupying.
In fact it always puts it a line higher than I think it ought to go on.
Maybe this is intended to work this way, but it looks wrong to my eyes.  When
the cursor is solidly in, say, the first space from the bottom (F for treble
clef), and I insert a note, I get a G.

I like the blue bar when you're not appending--maybe make it the full height
of the current staff?

Just to avoid confusing, I'll include a png showing where the cursor was when
I inserted the last few g's.
