 The docs state about the `custom-build` egg property:

 On Windows, a file with the .bat extension will be picked before a plain
 file with no extension.
 }}}

 This doesn't seem to work. So there currently is no way to provide a
 custom build script that works on Windows and another that works on UNIX.
