Follow-up Comment #15, bug #57751 (project make): RE: what POSIX says about internal macros and where they are valid: I agree with Jörg that no POSIX-based make supports $@ in prerequisite lists. However I agree with Bruce that the standard is at best ambiguous about this and I've filed: https://www.austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1420 to request clarification.
