The version you are looking for is in the multi-language-branch of CVS
(instructions for downloading it are available at
http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool), which will eventually become part of
libtool-1.5.
The 1.3d tarball already contains a whole passel of new features and bug
fixes, so we didn't want to hold it up any longer by merging in the
multi-language-branch.
