Sergey, are you ok with "assigning copyright" to the FSF for this document?
Sergey has already assigned copyright for all past&future hurd
contributions.
Uh. I assumed that was about actual explicit contributions, i.e. patch
contents and suchlike, but not the text of my emails. In this case
it's fine, since Zhaoming had explicitly asked and I said I don't
mind, but generally I wouldn't assume peoples' emails are licensed
under GFDL 1.2+ and copyright-assigned to FSF.
And furthermore, I must admit I'm typically unhappy when a certain
somebody ;) just takes my emails and Ctrl-C's + Ctrl-V's (well, M-w's
+ C-y's likely) text into QotH or wiki pages, only lightly edited
(e.g. s/me/Sergey/g). Not because of licensing or copyright, but just
because the way I write emails is tailored to that medium (and to the
specific discussion / email thread); I would have written things
differently if I was writing a wiki page or a news item, so it sounds
"off" to me.
This is why I ask y'all to either re-formulate the facts
you got from me in your own words, or quote me directly (e.g. "in his
email (link goes here), Sergey writes: blah blah blah"). Again, this
_has_ been handled appropriately in this case, so no complaints here.
