Follow-up Comment #5:

It *was* a missing `tok.next()`.  231 other tests are passing.

But you have to put it in the right set of braces because the function doesn't
consistently do early returns under invalidity conditions, which is kind of
sloppy.  So I'll fix that too.

I'll push this soon.
