I was promised an assignment to work on the "GNU Software for
MS-Windows and MS-DOS" manual and attendant software, but it's been
several weeks and I haven't received it. I'll have to assume that
people's attention has been taken away to more important projects, so
I will set the DOS/Windoze project aside for now.
I have agreed to help reconcile the man and info pages for the
findutil programs. I received the request on address@hidden I
will work on that until I get another assignment.
The DOS/Windoze manual says that not all the man pages are
up-to-date, and that users should refer to the info pages. Why are
the man pages not current? Has the decision been made to abandon the
man pages in favor of maintaining the info pages?
This may be off topic, but I have been working with the DOS/Windoze
utilities and have found some bugs. To whom should I report the
problems?
