URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51318> Summary: Compilation with gcc-7 fails with the current gnulib version - next debian version... Project: PSPP Submitted by: beckmanf Submitted on: Mon Jun 26 19:29:42 2017 Category: Compilation/Portability Severity: 5 - Average Status: Ready for Test/Review Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: None Effort: 0.00 _______________________________________________________ Details: Hi, pspp fails to build with gcc-7. See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=853623 This needs to be fixed for some future debian version. I tested this with current head on debian unstable and i could reproduce the problem. The problem can be fixed with an update of the gnulib version. I tested with: commit 9ae75d1450362acb61bfa1f0f77905b76f894838 Author: Bruno Haible <address@hidden> Date: Sun Jun 25 11:09:42 2017 +0200 stat: Improve last change. * lib/stat-w32.c: Revert last change. Use generic idiom instead. and then the regression works with * gcc-7 on debian unstable * gcc-6 on debian unstable * clang on macos (macports) Friedrich _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51318> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
