Details:

This bug seems to have crept in with the simpler-proc merge.

INPUT PROGRAM.
        LOOP #I = 1 TO 55000.
                COMPUTE X = #I.
        END CASE.
        END LOOP.
END FILE.
END INPUT PROGRAM.

SAVE OUTFILE='enormous.sav'.


adding EXECUTE before the SAVE seems to work around the problem.
