Unfortunately, I have no idea. I only have one other djgpp source that
does it, and it looks to be a manual rename. It was for findutils:

/^install-info:/,/^$/ s,\*\.info\*,find.i*,g

was added to configure at the end of the "Protect against being on the
right side of a sed subst in config.status" sed script.
