[bug-gcron] Status of gcron

Hi there!

I was just trying to install a cron-program on my GNU/Linux system 
(built nearly from scratch, so there was none already installed), but it 
was surprisingly difficult to find a free cron source package for download.

But I found the GNU cron page, and would like to ask how GNU cron 
progresses?  A look into CVS looks to me as if gcron was not really 
actively developed at the moment -- is this the case?

If no one is currently interested in developing gcron, I'd like to help 
with this, so GNU can provide its own, free cron implementatin for 
GNU/Linux users.
